House Concert No. 56
Scott Cook & Pamela Mae

We generally avoid having house concerts in January and February due to the
risk of
having a Total Fire Ban declared and, hence, having to cancel a concert,
However, we were so keen to get Scott Cook and Pamela Mae here
we took the chance because Pamela would only be in the country in January.
Scott has played
The Duckpond a couple of times before but never with his sweetheart Pamela.
We had met her last time they tourerd Australia and found her to be a delightful
person
as well as a fine bass player with a lovely voice, which was why we were so
keen to have her play here.
My
mum's old folding table came in handy as a merch table,
with plenty of goodies, including a few or Scott's fine CDs.
It also included
a new range of ' Scott Cook and
Pamela Mae.s Hoping Machines Parts + Service' caps
With
a full house, a few of our guests got up close and personal with Scott and
Pamela.
They were treated to a wonderful concert of heartfelt and inspiring songs.

floor where we have to put a few people when we have a full house.
Already looking
forward to their return to Healesville on their next trip.
